since Aug 2019 Subject-matter expert (SME) for Tectonics & Geodynamics
Subject-matter experts within Shell's technical functions organisation support the principal technical experts and ensure quality control and assurance in the relevant disciplines. The Tectonics & Geodynamics SME position was newly created in 2019 in recognition of the importance of the field in the energy exploration context, aiming to improve the cross-disciplinary links between tectonics/tectonophysics, basin modelling and basin infill. I am responsible for tectonics & geodynamics work and assurance across Royal Dutch Shell plc entities globally.
